Itinerary
Day tour Itinerary:
AT 05:00 hrs, pick up at your hotel, then you can depart towards Soraypampa which is at the northwest from the city, along the way you are going to pass by picturesque villages such as Izcuchaca, then pass by Inquilpata which is an small community where every Friday there is set the farmers market, and commerce whit livestock, people from other regions come and buy the animals at a reasonable price.
The transport continues, and passes by lima Tambo valley, place where we grow avocado, and export it to several countries, then arrive to Mollepata, and stop for some minutes for breakfast or buy something’s such as walking sticks, plastic rain poncho, then after one ore hour the transport will arrive to Soraypampa, a place from where you will start walking to the Humantay Lake.
The trail starts by backing glacier river, all uphill that takes about 2.5 hours to reach the humantay lake, once you approach you will see a fascinating blue color water lake, below of the huamantay glacier mountain, you will have enough time to take pictures and enjoy, then return observing the nice view of mountains, then take the transport to a lower place, stop for lunch, after late lunch, we will drive back to cusco city arriving at about 17:00.
